To get started with this recipe, we must first prepare a few ingredients. You can have lamb leg and rice using 10 ingredients and 8 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Lamb Leg and Rice:
  1. Prepare 2 lb Lamb Leg
  2. Make ready 1 cup Rice
  3. Make ready 1/2 onion, chopped
  4. Make ready 1 tsp vegetable oil
  5. Take 1 Bouillon
  6. Take 1 water
  7. Prepare 1 salt
  8. Take 1 tsp black pepper
  9. Take 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  10. Take 1 tbsp Ground Cardamon

Unroll lamb, pat dry and rub with marinade. Place cut side up of lamb on work surface. Spread half of stuffing evenly over lamb, press to adhere. Lamb leg is actually quite lean, so the best way to slow roast a leg of lamb is to partially submerge it in liquid and roast it covered for most of the time.

  1. Prepare the onion and cut it in big cubes.
  2. Put little oil in pot and put the onion and the cinnamon with the cardamom.
  3. Cook the onion until it starts to lose its water.
  4. Add the lamb leg and flip it on in the pot.
  5. Add the water to cover up the lamb leg. Boil it for 1 houre
  6. After 1 hour add salt, black pepper, and bouillon and cook it for 15 min.
  7. After 15 min remove it from the pot and add put the lamb leg in the Oven for 20 min. Add little black pepper and cinnamon on top of it.
  8. With the meat water cook the rice for 20 min.
