Prepare 2 Spring Onions *finely chopped
Make ready 1/2 teaspoon Potato Starch OR Corn Starch *mixed with 1 teaspoon Water
Prepare Sauce
Take 1/2 tablespoon Dark Colour Miso
Take 1/2 tablespoon Sugar
Get 1/2 tablespoon Soy Sauce
Prepare 1 tablespoon Sake (Rice wine)
Make ready 1/2-1 tablespoon Toban Djan (Chilli Bean Sauce)
Make ready 1/4 cup Chicken Stock *OR 1/4 cup Water & 1/4 teaspoon Asian Chicken Bouillon Powder
Prepare 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil *You can add some Chilli Oil as well
Instructions to make Spicy Meat Sauce:
Combine all the sauce ingredients in a small bowl.
Heat Oil in a saucepan over medium heat, add Ginger and Garlic. When aromatic, add Mince Meat and Spring Onion.
When Minced Meat is cooked, add the sauce. Cook for a few minutes, then add Potato Starch (OR Corn Starch) mixture and stir until thickens.
Enjoy with Tofu, steamed Vegetables, Noodles or Rice. Today I served steamed Cauliflower with this sauce.
