Katsu Don is one of the most favored of recent trending foods in the world. It’s easy, it is fast, it tastes yummy. It is appreciated by millions daily. Katsu Don is something that I have loved my entire life. They are nice and they look fantastic.

To begin with this recipe, we must first prepare a few components. You can have katsu don using 10 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you cook that.

The ingredients needed to make Katsu Don:
  1. Take Freshly Cooked Rice 4 servings
  2. Get 1 tablespoon Oil
  3. Take 1-2 Onion *sliced 1cm thick
  4. Make ready 1 cup Dashi Stock *Water is OK
  5. Take 2-3 Spring onion *sliced diagonally
  6. Make ready 2 tablespoons Sugar
  7. Take 4-5 tablespoons Soy sauce
  8. Take 2 tablespoons Mirin
  9. Take 4 Tonkatsu (Pork Cutlets)
  10. Make ready 4-6 Eggs
Steps to make Katsu Don:
  1. Cut Tonkatsu (Pork Cutlets) and Onion.
  2. Heat Oil in a frying pan and cook Onion. Once the Onion starts to change colour, add Dashi Stock, Sugar, Mirin and Soy Sauce and cook on a medium heat until tender.
  3. Place the sliced Tonkatsu (Pork Cutlets) on top of the Onion. DO NOT stir.
  4. Beat the Eggs and pour them over the Tonkatsu and Onion, but DO NOT stir. Sprinkle Spring Onions over the top and cover the pan with a lid until the Egg is set. DO NOT over-cook.
  5. Half fill a bowl with freshly cooked rice and cover it with the Tonkatsu mixture.
