  1. Get 1 cup All-purpose flour

Instructions to make Caribbean Cornbread:
  1. Preheat oven to 325.
  2. Butter and flour a 9x9 or 7x11 baking dish. I prefer Pyrex.
  3. Combine dry ingredients - flour, corn meal, baking powder, salt - mix and set aside
  4. Cream butter and sugar. Mix in eggs one at a time. Mix in corn, pineapple, and cheese.
  5. Combine dry and wet ingredients and mix well. Pour into your baking dish.
  6. Bake until edges are golden brown, or till a tester stuck into the center comes out clean. Takes about 1 hour.
