The ingredients needed to make Fried ice cream:
Get 1 heaped scoop / cup Strawberry ice cream (I used from a family pack)
Make ready 3-4 tablespoons Homemade bread crumbs/ panko white readymade
Get 1 tablespoon cornflour (slurry)
Prepare 1 tablespoon powder sugar
Make ready as required Oil for frying
Make ready as required Garnish with homemade tutti frutti
Make ready 1 teaspoon Fresh cream
Steps to make Fried ice cream:
Take a generous amount of ice cream scoop freeze it until it’s hard like rock then coat with breadcrumbs then freeze for around 2 hours.
Then prepare a cornflour thick slurry with sugar & some water further when we remove it will do the second coating of cornflour slurry & breadcrumbs again pop it in the freezer for around 30 minutes.
Preheat oil in Kadhai it must be very hot as we only need to fry till it’s slightly golden all over just remove in 20 seconds don’t fry more than that the ice cream may melt.
Garnish it with any topping of your choice I have used fresh cream & tutti frutti & serve it immediately.
