Chicken Biryani is one of the most popular of recent trending meals in the world. It’s appreciated by millions every day. It is simple, it is fast, it tastes yummy. Chicken Biryani is something which I have loved my whole life. They’re nice and they look wonderful.

In a medium-size pot, heat the chicken stock and salt. When the mixture is hot pour it over the rice and stir well. Add the chicken mixture and the potatoes; gently mix them into the rice. Add the chicken and turn to coat.

The ingredients needed to make Chicken Biryani:
  1. Prepare 1 cup rice
  2. Make ready 250 gms curd
  3. Make ready 250 gms boneless chicken 1inch per piece
  4. Take 1/2 packet biryani masala
  5. Get 1/2 tsp turmeric
  6. Prepare 1 tbsp paprika powder
  7. Prepare 1 tsp coriander powder
  8. Make ready 2 onions
  9. Get 1 tomato
  10. Get 1 potato
  11. Get as needed chopped coriander
  12. Make ready 2 bay leaves
  13. Make ready 2 star anise
  14. Take 5-6 pepper corns
  15. Prepare 2 tbsp ghee
  16. Make ready 1/2 tsp sugar
  17. Make ready as per taste salt
  18. Prepare 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste

Chicken biryani is a simple and super flavourful one-pot meal that is best served with raita and salad. There is a reason why chicken biryani is the most ordered dish in India since the last few years! But why order it when you can make flavourful and delectable restaurant-style biryani at home? Traditional chicken biryani is made by layering marinated chicken and then layered with parboiled rice, herbs,saffron milk & then ghee.

Instructions to make Chicken Biryani:
  1. In a bowl marinate chicken adding curd, turmeric, paprika powder, coriander powder, biryani masala, chopped coriander, 1 bay leaf (do not add salt)
  2. In a vessel add 2tbsp of ghee, star anise,pepper corns & bay leaf
  3. Add water and let boil
  4. Wash 1 cup of rice and add it to the boiled water
  5. Strain the rice once cooked
  6. In a pan add 1tbsp of oil and saute onion adding ½tsp sugar and salt
  7. Saute untill dark in colour. here the barista is ready. Allow it to cool
  8. In a kadai or vessel add in 2tbsp of ghee
  9. Add in 1onion and ginger garlic paste and tomato
  10. Then add in the marinated chicken and mix well
  11. Add in ½ cup of water
  12. Cook it covering with a lid
  13. Once the chicken is cooked, let the gravy thicken
  14. Cut potato into pieces, 1inch each and deep fry and spinkle salt once fried
  15. Layer the rice on the gravy adding fried potatoes, chopped coriander and birista
  16. Serve with curd raita or salad
