In a medium-size pot, heat the chicken stock and salt. When the mixture is hot pour it over the rice and stir well. Add the chicken mixture and the potatoes; gently mix them into the rice. Add the chicken and turn to coat.

  1. Prepare half kg Chicken
  2. Take half kg Rice boiled
  3. Prepare 2 tsp Red chilli
  4. Take 1 tsp Turmeric
  5. Make ready 1 tsp Coriander powder
  6. Make ready 1 tsp Whole ground spices
  7. Prepare 5 Green chillies
  8. Get 2 Onion fried
  9. Make ready 2 Tomatoes
  10. Get 1 cup Yogurt
  11. Take 1 tsp Zeera
  12. Get 3-4 Bay leaf
  13. Get 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  14. Prepare leaves Mint
  15. Get 2 tsp Kewra water

Chicken biryani is a simple and super flavourful one-pot meal that is best served with raita and salad. There is a reason why chicken biryani is the most ordered dish in India since the last few years! But why order it when you can make flavourful and delectable restaurant-style biryani at home? Traditional chicken biryani is made by layering marinated chicken and then layered with parboiled rice, herbs,saffron milk & then ghee.

Instructions to make Chicken biryani:
  1. In chicken add red chilli, salt, turmeric, ground spices, coriander mix well and m for 20 minutes.
  2. Heat oil add zeera, green cardamom, bay leaves, cloves saute them for 3 minutes.
  3. Add marinated chicken and ginger garlic paste and green chillies mix well now cover and cook for 10 minutes on low flame until the chicken is tender.
  4. Add tomatoes and mix well until the tomatoes became soft.
  5. Add yogurt and cook in high flame for 5 minutes until the oil separates.
  6. Add boil rice, fried onion mint leaves, kewra water and green chillies and cook for 5 minutes in high flame now cover and cook in low flame for 5-7minutes.
  7. After 5 minutes mix the rice and served.
